You will need: a baguette or thin glazing bead, a small sheet of plywood 5 mm thick (or a ready-made strong frame for a picture), a wallpaper border, brass handles, PVA glue, acrylic paints, waterproof varnish.
1. We saw off a sheet of plywood 30x40 cm. We make a frame, cutting off the bead at an angle of 45 °, and nail it to the plywood. Then screw on the handles. (Or just take the finished frame.)
2. We paint the resulting tray first with black paint and wait until it dries. We take a dry brush, lightly dip it in gold paint and apply thin strokes with light movements.
3. We take a wallpaper border, cut it to the size of the tray, cutting off the corner joints at an angle of 45 °. Glue it inside the frame with PVA glue, let it dry.
4. We cover the entire surface of the tray with several layers of glossy acrylic varnish to protect the tray from moisture. Let the varnish dry well.
