I'm small but free

Do you think that you have reached the handle? Are you in trouble at work, you haven't been paid for three months, and your boss yelled at you this morning? I know what you need to do. To calm down, come to your senses and gather your thoughts, you need joy. Give yourself a little pleasure, but don't let it be a pleasure for your family, husband or children. It must be a pleasure for yourself, for you personally!

For example, like this. You come home, wait for the evening, put everyone to bed and stay alone with yourself. And now, at 11 o'clock at night, breaking all conceivable diets, you can cook and eat something very tasty. You take fat-free cottage cheese, add a lot of parsley and dill to it and very little flour, s alt and spices. And cook cheesecakes - not fatty and sweet, as usual, but light and similar to goat cheese. Then you make some awesome green tea and turn on your favorite movie, which you, of course, have been going to see for a hundred years, but you just couldn’t do it. You relax, enjoy life, watch a movie and along the way think about what you would like. I assure you that in such a state, something positive will certainly come to your mind. After all, you paused and allowed yourself to think about life, and this is generally very rare now.

I know for a fact that such a pause is an almost sure-fire way to change your life. I tried it on myself. In 2004, I graduated from the presidential company and realized that the race was over for me. I then did everything I could, and then I had to live differently. Until that time, I was terribly vulnerable, planned some goals for myself, stubbornly moved towards them, and if something didn’t work out, I got very upset. In general, the whole world then concentrated for me in the bustling flow of a big city, when you are always trying to do something and be in time. As a result, you get a lot of stress, because not everything in this world depends on you and you can not always avoid mistakes. After 2004, I realized that the main rule of a happy life is this: you need to love life more than your own career, and love yourself more than your own success. And then you stop participating in the race, because there comes an internal pause, which gives you the opportunity to think and decide on desires. Just two hours of silence - and already something will change.

I realized that there are two types of people. Some people argue like this: “Of course, the universe is limitless, and I do not know all the secrets of the universe. But I'm so cool that I'll break everything over my knee, but I'll do what I want. And I will prove that I can achieve anything, make any dream come true. People of the second type argue in a completely different way: “The universe is much stronger than me, and I am just a small trifle. But this little thing wants to live happily. Therefore, I periodically ask the universe for something, because I am so weak and I can’t handle it myself.” And here's what's amazing: once you understand that the universe is huge and you're small, then life becomes much easier. Because every time you want to ask the universe for something, you suddenly realize that your request is also a trifle. Remember, in Strugatsky's book Roadside Picnic, the main character reaches the ball, and when he hugs this ball, he can ask him for anything and any wish will come true. And the hero understands that you can only make one wish, which means that you need to ask for something very important, grandiose. And the only thing that comes to his mind is “let everyone be fine and let no one leave offended.”

It would seem such a banal thing. When everything around is raging, you are haunted by stress and humiliated by your bosses, you stop reacting to external events like a nervous snail to every touch of a needle. You become less naked, and you have such an inner shell, a core that helps you understand that everything that happens is trifles. You say to yourself: “I am a small person, but free. And, if it’s really hard for me, I will definitely ask the Universe for something. But for now, there’s nothing to ask for, because you can get out of everything.” And I assure you that you will indeed get out.
