Now Egypt will be even closer to us. At the end of May, the Sand Sculpture Festival "Treasures of Ancient Egypt" opens in the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University (Prospect Mira, 26). The permanent exhibition will feature sand sculptures depicting pyramids, pharaohs and bizarre labyrinths. The organizers of the festival brought over 1,000 cubic meters of sand to make them. At the end of June, the International Sand Sculpture Championship will be held, which will be attended by sculptors from 12 countries. Every weekend, children will be able to take part in the open sand sculpture contest “Make a Super Pharaoh”, while adults can enjoy hot oriental nights in the evenings with performances by musical groups, a colorful oriental bazaar and a teahouse.
Domashniy Ochag magazine will present at the exhibition a whole family resort - with a swimming pool, sandbox, palm trees and sunbeds. On weekends, we will arrange a mini disco for children, and belly dancing lessons for moms.
