We asked famous parents of schoolchildren how their families are preparing to celebrate September 1.

Stars get ready for school

Ekaterina Volkova: My daughter Lera will start 10th grade tomorrow. We have a wonderful school with in-depth study of the German language, and for Lera, studying is always a holiday, and especially on September 1, when she looks forward to meeting her friends. This year, Lera has practically no time left to prepare for the new academic year, she has just returned from Germany, where she practiced the language, so we will do the preparations in parallel with her studies. Recently, in an interview with my daughter, I read that she was going to enter the theater institute, for me it was a complete surprise. But, however, she still has 2 whole years to change her mind…

Iosif Prigogine: Valeria and I have six children for two, and they all go to school tomorrow. My daughters Liza and Danaya go to 5th and 7th grades, their attitude to school is different - Lisa is waiting for September 1 like manna from heaven, she missed her classmates, but for Dana the school is a test. Although at one time all our children went through the rejection of learning. Valeria Senya's son also goes to the 5th grade. Tomorrow Valeria will go to school with him to meet the new class teacher. She is in active contact with all teachers. Arseniy is a very talented guy, he plays piano, I think he has a great musical future. We rested with him in Italy, bought him a whole school wardrobe, abroad, of course, things are much cheaper. In general, the children had such fruitful and eventful holidays that they managed to miss their studies. For example, Tema, who will go to 10th grade in England, recently celebrated his birthday. On August 25, he turned 15 years old. We celebrated, as always, with my grandmother in the village, this is such a prerequisite for him - to study well all year, if we promise that he will celebrate his birthday in the village. Dmitry, my eldest son, is a sophomore, studying at GITIS, and Anya, Valeria's eldest daughter, entered the Shchukin school this year, and, perhaps, is waiting for the start of the school year more than anyone else. They had some kind of subbotnik at the school, they washed the windows, she participates in everything with such zeal, and now she runs around the shops, sews her own costumes, in general, she is looking forward to the beginning of a new adult life.
