Question: I often get cold and cold and have been advised to take turpentine baths. How does it work and is it bad for the heart?
• Just take a hot bath for no more than 25-30 minutes. Further stay in hot water will have a bad effect on the state of the vessels. And a bath with turpentine mixture - no more than 10-15 minutes.
• The temperature of the bath water should be between +35 and 37°C.
Now there are ready-made compositions "Skipar" based on turpentine. These are turpentine emulsions for baths "White", "Mixed" and a solution "Yellow". They are recommended for the prevention of colds in the autumn-winter period as an excellent natural bactericidal agent.
The Skipar emulsion or solution is first mixed with three liters of hot water (see instructions) and then added to the bath.
After this procedure, you should rest for 1.5-2 hours.
In order to avoid burns on sensitive areas of the skin, it is recommended to lubricate them with Vaseline before taking baths. And strictly observe the temperature regime and the dosage of the solution.
