On Valentine's Day, most men will disappoint their girlfriends, study reveals
More than 70% of women would like to receive a romantic letter or poem on this holiday, but less than 50% of the stronger sex are able to fulfill this women's dream. Most women are ready to keep this love message for many years, because this is one of the few sincere manifestations of romantic feelings of the stronger sex. In other words, besides this card or poem, a man is unlikely to express his feelings in words in any other way.
The stronger sex has gone tongue-tied and unromantic now, which is why most women will be disappointed again this Valentine's Day. 20% of men are ready to send “valentines” to their girlfriends via SMS, more than 10% will use e-mail. However, despite the fact that more than 90% of women are Internet users (we are talking about Western countries), more than 60% of them will be disappointed when they receive a declaration of love through email or a social site. Women would prefer a traditional postcard or letter.
In the course of a study conducted by British sociologists, 2,100 adults were interviewed. Two out of every three women would like to hear recognition of their beauty on Valentine's Day, a third of the ladies will be satisfied if they see manifestations of love in the eyes of their men. As we can see, women don't ask for much. Unfortunately, men can give even less.
