From 12 to 18 April, the 11th International Musical Kremlin Festival was held in the Armory of the Moscow Kremlin
This year the show pleased the guests with concerts of real stars of classical music.
The participants of the festival were world-famous pianists: Christian Blackshaw (Great Britain), Alexander Paley (USA), Anna Malikova and Andrey Yusov (Germany); little known to the Moscow public Chamber Orchestra "Russian Camerata" of the Tver Academic Philharmonic; singer Natalia Krauter (Lithuania) and other eminent performers.
The concert of Russian and French music, timed to coincide with the Year of Russia in France and France in Russia, prepared a duet of Nikolai Petrov with Alexander Gindin. It took place on April 14 and became a highlight in a series of festival evenings.
The culmination of the evening was the congratulation on the birthday of the outstanding pianist Nikolai Petrov. Spectators and friends gave flowers and gifts, and the Kofein Confectionery presented a cake made in the form of a white piano and decorated with sugar mastic as a gift.
The main goal of the annual festival, according to its artistic director Nikolai Petrov, is to present the best examples of Russian and foreign musical culture to the audience, familiarize them with the treasures of the Moscow Kremlin and confirm that our culture alive and proud, has been achieved.
