So, reflecting on the importance of sports in a child’s life in an interview with the Daughters-Mothers blog, Maria Kozhevnikova noted: “We will definitely try to go to several different sections, but we will start, of course, from hockey. You understand, our grandfather is an Olympic champion, so he has already bought skates and clubs for his grandchildren. But if they don't like it, I won't push. For my sons, I want to make a tight schedule of classes so that there is simply no place for any stupid things in life. And I really want them to understand as early as possible that results can only be achieved if you work hard.”
