Why should dandruff be treated as soon as possible? White flakes not only make you look untidy, but also unhe althy: dandruff coats the scalp, blocking air access, which makes the roots weak and hair brittle.

1. Baking soda

Soda will come in handy not only in the kitchen, but will also help you solve some beauty problems. For example, one of its best properties is treating dandruff: the alkaline base of baking soda helps restore a he althy pH balance to the scalp. The baking soda powder also acts as a gentle exfoliator and removes all dead cell buildup, dirt and styling from the hair roots. Gently massage baking soda into damp hair and scalp, but repeat the process no more than once a week.

2. Tea tree oil

Antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory - tea tree oil has all these beneficial properties. Acting as a natural antiseptic, the oil eliminates the very cause of dandruff and its unpleasant symptoms: dryness and itching of the scalp. You can add a few drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo, but it is more effective to make an overnight mask: mix 5-7 drops of tea tree oil with a little olive oil and apply the mixture to the hair roots. Repeat the process regularly, at least once a week, and notice a significant reduction in dandruff.
