The Tretyakov Gallery has published a creative video with the "revived" character of Valentin Serov's painting "Girl with Peaches". In three hours, the video gained more than 26 thousand views.
Today The Tretyakov Gallery presented to the public a video dedicated to the Valentin Serov exhibition, which starts on October 7 and will last until mid-January next of the year. As reported on the official page of the Tretyakov Gallery on Facebook, the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve provided organizational assistance in creating the video. In the film, a character from the artist's famous painting comes to life "Girl with Peaches" tells a funny story of painting this painting.
A retrospective of Serov's best paintings and graphic works will be placed on three floors of the Gallery on Krymsky Val. The exhibition will feature famous portraits of the master, landscapes, as well as samples of the author's monumental art that previously eluded the gaze of researchers. The exhibition will feature works from 18 Russian and 5 foreign museums, which will be complemented by exhibits from private collections.
