Fatty shine of the face is one of the main beauty problems we face. Of course, the situation is aggravated by the heat and increased sweating - alas, this happens even to princesses!

Owners of oily and combination skin are constantly struggling with shine, which can ruin any, even the most successful image. Of course, oily skin also has its advantages - it is much less prone to the appearance of mimic wrinkles than dry skin. But this fact is unlikely to console you. So let's figure out how to defeat oily sheen and make the skin look perfectly matte.
KEEP YOUR TIME
You will be surprised when you find out that your sebaceous glands work like clockwork. In the morning before work, you wash your face and it seems that your face is in perfect order, but a couple of hours pass, and even if you don’t sweat, the oily shine already shines brighter than the summer sun! In fact, cosmetologists have found that 2-3 hours after waking up and in the next 4-5 hours, our sebaceous glands are most active, and it is at this moment that problem areas need cleansing.
USE NAPKINS
If you notice oily sheen on your face, do not rush to use powder - under its layer, the skin begins to work even more actively, and after 20 minutes you will feel the need to powder again. It would be much more correct to blot oily areas with matting wipes. By the way, in their absence, you can save yourself with ordinary coffee filters - they also have a “blotter” effect and you will certainly find them at home or in the office. Attention: when using a napkin, do not make any wiping movements! Just apply it to the problem area and press lightly.
READ THE LABEL
Your cleanser shouldn't be too harsh, even if you have very oily skin. Read the label carefully and avoid lotions and tonics that contain sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium sulfate, laureth sulfate, or ammonium laureth. These ingredients tend to dehydrate the skin and can cause the sebaceous glands to become "frightened" of dryness and produce more sebum.
DO NOT USE MOISTURIZING CREAM
This advice may seem controversial, because we are all told that water is the source of life, which means that the skin needs a moisturizer. Yes it's true. But only if you do not have such a problem as oily sheen! Arrange a diet for your T-zone - use the cream only on those areas where you really need moisturizing, and leave your forehead, nose and chin alone - they only need cleansing, not an extra fat layer. If you can’t imagine your life without a cream at all, then buy a special matting one. These products usually contain zinc, which can effectively fight shine.
REJECT YOUR FOUNDATION
Sorry, but we have one more bad news - it is also better not to use foundation on problem areas. The fact is that any foundation contains a greasy base, and as a result, the face shines even more. The only option that is acceptable in your case is a liquid tonal serum. As a rule, these products are very light and "fat-free", so they are ideal for the T-zone. Another option is mattifying foundations, which are designed specifically to neutralize shine.
DO NOT WASH TOO OFTEN
Yes, oily skin needs cleansing, but this does not mean that it can be tormented by constant cleansing. Wash your face no more than three times a day, and the rest of the time use only matting wipes. The principle here is simple - the more you dry your skin with special foams and washing gels, the more it produces a secret. Therefore, know the measure! You need a cleansing, but don't overdo it.
USE SALICYLIC ACID
This penny drug from the pharmacy works wonders! Salicylic acid can be diluted with mineral water and wiped on the face as a tonic in the morning and evening. It really works - after 2-3 days of application, you will notice that the skin no longer shines so actively, and the pores have narrowed and become less noticeable.
