With the beginning of autumn, almost every third family suffers from a viral respiratory infection. Aches all over the body, coughing and runny nose pretty much complicate life. We've rounded up five weird flu and cold prevention tips to help keep you protected this fall.

COLD PREVENTION
1. TAKE A CLOVE ON THE BUS
When traveling on public transport, keep a peel of lemon, a piece of calamus root or clove buds in your mouth. They have a disinfecting effect.
2. SAVE ORANGE
The most reliable way to prevent a cold is to put garlic and chopped onions in saucers. If you don't want your home to look like a cheap eatery, then there is another option for cold prevention medicine. Take an orange and stuff it with cloves to make a kind of "hedgehog". Dried cloves have a disinfecting effect, while orange relieves headaches and boosts immunity.
3. SHOW YOUR LANGUAGE TO VIRUSES
Yes, yes, literally. Do exercises more often - sticking out your tongue, pull it to your chin for 5-7 seconds, then press it to your lower teeth, open your mouth wide and freeze for a few seconds. This remedy for the prevention of flu and colds looks strange, but if you do this exercise three times a day, the blood supply in the throat improves significantly, mucus is removed and swelling subsides.
4. LICK THE PLATE
Spread a teaspoon of honey on a plate (only if you are not allergic to it) and lick it! This is also an exercise for the tongue and the prevention of colds and flu. Your mouth is the first to meet germs, and such gymnastics improves blood circulation, while honey serves as a natural antiviral.
