A resident of the UK, who managed to save her newborn daughter from death, urged all parents to ban unfamiliar people from kissing their babies on the lips.
Resident Great Britain from Doncaster Claire Hendersonon her Facebook page posted an alarming post intended for all new parents. The girl warns all mothers and fathers not to allow unfamiliar people to kiss their newborn babies on the lips.
Such categorical treatment of Claire was caused by a recent event in her family. Henderson, a month ago, became the mother of the charming baby Brooke, whom one of the family's friends kissed on the lips at the first meeting. The next day, the child developed blisters on his face and around his mouth. A caring mother immediately went to the doctors who diagnosed her with herpes.
As it turned out, this virus is extremely dangerous for newborns up to three months. Such a young body is not yet able to fight this disease on its own, and the disease can lead to irreversible damage to the liver and brain. But baby Brooke, thanks to an attentive mother, managed to avoid a fatal outcome. The girl spent three days on drips and two more in a rehabilitation center.
Having survived the tragedy, Claire was determined to let as many people as possible know about it. So, she posted an emotional post on her Facebook page, in which she told her story in detail and urged everyone to share her publication in order to protect other young children from dangerous infection. As a result, more than 35,000 social media users circulated her warning.
