Death mask of the poet, actor and songwriter Vladimir Vysotsky and the manuscript of his last poem were put up for auction at the Paris auction house Drouot. According to "Interfax", both lots are put up for sale by the widow of a celebrity - artist Marina Vladi.
As it turned out, the last poem that anyone can buy is dated June 11, 1980 and is written on the ticket. The initial price of this lot is 15 thousand euros. And the sale of Vladimir's death mask starts at 50,000 euros. Marina herself requested this price. The auction starts in mid-November and will last for two days from the 24th to the 25th.
According to approximate estimates of contemporaries, Vysotsky created more than 800 poems in his life, some of which became the lyrics of songs performed by him. In addition, he has acted in numerous films and theatrical productions.
Actress Marina Vlady became the last wife of Vladimir. They got married in 1970 and lived together until the death of the artist. The wife of the famous singer-songwriter wrote a biographical book about him called "Vladimir, or an aborted flight …", based on which Vlady staged a play in French in 2006.
