The prestigious international competition for students Imagine Cup 2016 will help you realize your ideas in the field of high technologies or create your own IT project.
“Before, I could not even imagine that such large IT competitions were held in our country. I am amazed at how many Russian students have already taken part in this project and what incredible results they have achieved,” says Daniil Vakhrushev, star of the TV series “Fizruk” and guest of the Imagine Cup 2015 Russian final.
Last week, registration for the prestigious Imagine Cup 2016 student technology competition began. On this occasion, Microsoft, together with partners, is holding special marathons in Moscow and other Russian cities for all IT fans. During the day, participants will have educational sessions, and in the evening, like-minded people will be able to team up and create their own creative startup. An expert jury will select the winners who will receive valuable prizes and a chance to show their inventions to the whole world.
Special attention to this year's Imagine Cup competition should be paid to girls who want to start their journey in IT. After all, today everyone can become successful in such a promising area as information technology. The main thing is talent, imagination and the desire to win.
Last year, the St. Petersburg team IzHard took first place in the Games category. In a team of three people, two are representatives of the fair sex. In addition, since last year, a special nomination "Girls in IT" has been established, which is designed to inspire participants to new achievements. This is another reason to go to the Imagine Cup and compete for the main prize of $50,000 to develop your project.
