Looks like a lot. New research shows that chocolate can rival fruit, red wine, and green tea for antioxidants like polyphenols. An experiment at the University of Pennsylvania Scranton showed that 50 grams of milk chocolate contains as many polyphenols as 5 apples or one glass of wine. Dark chocolate has twice the amount of polyphenols. This gives hope that chocolate lovers will have fewer problems with cardiovascular diseases, although such statistics on the beneficial properties of chocolate have not yet been studied.
CAN CHOCOLATE STRENGTHEN MEMORY?

IS CHOCOLATE ADDICTION
No. Except, perhaps, a psychological chocolate addiction, from enjoying the taste. An experiment with chocolate capsules and placebo capsules showed that there is no biological craving for chocolate that would be satisfied by taking chocolate tablets. So, it's all about taste and habits.
CAN CHOCOLATE CAUSE MIGRAINES?
No. An experiment involving volunteers suffering from migraines confirmed this. Some of them ate natural chocolate every day, while others ate various chocolate substitutes, indistinguishable in taste.
