The tragedy that claimed the lives of 224 people shocked the whole country. The stars of domestic show business could not stand aside and expressed their condolences to the families of the victims.
Last Saturday, the tragic news about the crash of the liner, following the route Sharm el-Sheikh - St. Petersburg, plunged the whole country in shock. November 1 was declared an official day of mourning. Scheduled entertainment shows have been removed from television broadcasting. Everyone united in grief and shared this tragedy with the families and friends of the victims, of whom there were 224 people on board the aircraft - 7 airline employees and 217 passengers.
Not left out of the general grief and celebrities. So, the journalist Ksenia Sobchak on Instagram expressed her deepest condolences to the victims, and also commented on the state of local airlines. “A terrible tragedy… My condolences to all those close to me… As you remember, I myself flew two days ago to Egypt. She flew on a terrible plane of Orenburg Airlines, flew and swore at herself, because it’s scary to fly with incomprehensible airlines. You never know where and how fate will meet you, but we must try to insure ourselves as best we can, choosing the most reliable airlines as possible … It’s a pity for people terribly … My hometown, I’m with you today! - wrote the TV presenter.
Singer Vera Brezhneva also expressed her emotions on this occasion, reminding her subscribers how important it is to appreciate life. “When you fly 4-6 times a week, you practically forget that this is just a car, it has wings, but sometimes they don’t save … Nobody knows what awaits us tomorrow … There are today. And that's the only thing that matters. Live life to the fullest every day. No matter how many are given. Condolences to family and friends. Strength to endure the loss,” wrote the artist.
And Brezhnev's former colleague in the "VIA Gra" group Anna Sedokova admitted how difficult it is for her to experience all the injustice of life. “Every time such an injustice happens, you want to scream. But we are silent… Hold on. Please,” said the singer.
The actress Evelina Bledans spoke out in support of the loved ones and relatives of the dead passengers of the liner: "Our condolences to the relatives, relatives, friends of the victims." Model Victoria Lopyreva posted the following comment on the social network: “I share the grief of the relatives and friends of the victims. Hold on." The star of the TV project “Dom 2” Olga Buzova wrote: “No words will help to survive this tragedy… condolences to all the relatives and friends of the victims.”
The residents of Comedy Club Garik Kharlamov and Pavel Volya who rescheduled their performances, scheduled days of mourning to share grief and thus express solidarity with the families and friends of the victims. So, Garik posted on Instagram an appeal to subscribers: “In connection with the tragedy associated with the crash of the Airbus A321, I don’t see the strength and desire in myself to perform at a concert in Crocus today. I think my friends and colleagues, as well as the organizers of this concert and the spectators who bought tickets, will understand and decide to postpone this concert to another date. I express my condolences to the families of the victims.”
Pavel personally warned the audience of his concert in Voronezh about the postponement of the performance: “Today's concert in Voronezh is postponed to November 29th. No laughing matter today. Went on stage, said about the transfer. And without any commands or hints, the hall of two thousand stood up and was silent for a minute. Thank you people for being people. Condolences to all relatives. Kingdom of heaven to the departed.”
In addition, Tina Kandelaki, a journalist and head of the federal sports TV channel Match TV, said that on the day of mourning, November 1, the channel was supposed to start broadcasting with various funny surprises and entertainment programs. But, according to the journalist, in connection with the tragedy in the country, the program guide will be changed.
“Tomorrow is the first day of the Match TV broadcast. We go on the air after a great tragedy that claimed the lives of people. We were preparing a premiere full of surprises, but in the current circumstances we consider such a start to be inappropriate. The program of the channel on November 1 will be changed. We mourn with everyone, we express our condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims,” Tina wrote on Instagram.
