In connection with the mourning for the dead passengers of the Airbus airliner that crashed in Egypt, the athlete and his wife canceled the premiere of the show "The Snow King", scheduled for November 3rd.
Olympic champion Evgeny Plushenko and his wife, music producer Yana Rudkovskaya, announced that they have decided to postpone the premiere date of the ice show"Snow King" from the third to the fourth of November. Celebrities explained their decision by the fact that the country declared mourning for the dead passengers of the Airbus A321 airliner, which crashed in Egypt. They said that they could not entertain the audience on the third day of mourning, and asked for understanding with their decision.
On the scheduled day of the premiere of the performance, the performance was also supposed to be an interactive congratulation for Evgeny, who turned 33 on November 3rd. The couple said that they would not celebrate the anniversary of the athlete out of respect for the families of the deceased passengers.
“Since none of us has the desire to spend a birthday in mourning, and even more so to hold a show, Evgeny refused. If someone can afford to go on stage on the 31st, on the 1st, then we cannot. On the 4th, spectators will be able to come with tickets on the 3rd, all of them will be given seats of their category or better. We will start the premiere with a minute of silence, and at the evening show we will congratulate Evgeny,”Rudkovskaya told the portal Super.ru.
