The couple are raising six-year-old daughter Elizabeth - the couple sought to create a cozy family nest away from city noise.
Ekaterina and Andrey argued a lot about the design of the house and even turned to the Perfect Repair program in the fall of 2016 for help in developing the project. The couple was very pleased with the results of the work of the designers - it only remained to bring all the ideas to life.

Over time, the dishonesty of the repair teams was revealed. The negative consequences of such an attitude to work resulted in significant losses for the spouses.
Since Andrey Karpov was educated as an architect, the couple easily drew up the initial plan and purchased the necessary materials. In order not to suffer with the search for craftsmen, the couple agreed with a team that was doing repairs in a neighboring mansion.
Unfortunately, the found specialists turned out to be incompetent, and besides, they did not burn with special zeal. For six months, the repair has not moved forward.

When the couple discovered that they were not in danger of celebrating a housewarming party in the near future, their chagrin knew no bounds.
“Due to the tight schedule, we could not always control what was happening,” Ekaterina told StarHit. - And the guys worked half-heartedly. One day we arrived, and they were chattering … Patience snapped. They reprimanded, freaked out and dispersed them.”
Soon the couple found other masters and began to control their activities more closely.

With the second brigade Ekaterina and Andrey were let down by time wages - it became profitable for the workers to "pull the rubber". The actress shared with reporters:
“They made another mistake - they “put” them on a salary: each received 50 thousand rubles a month. The repair dragged on for another year, as these comrades worked no faster than the previous ones. Everyone was fired. But they left us a "gift" - a bunch of jambs: empty slopes on the windows with mold inside, crooked walls …"
As a result, all the necessary alterations resulted in a rather large amount - 500 thousand rubles. The spouses, taught by bitter experience, installed video cameras in the house in order to control the next brigade. Ekaterina and Andrei expect to have a housewarming party by September.
