75-year-old journalist explained the reason for his death.


On Saturday evening Boris Notkin was found dead in his house near Moscow in the village of Rozhdestvenno, Odintsovo district.
The 75-year-old TV presenter has died from a gunshot wound to the head. Nearby was a gun he had bought two weeks earlier for self-defense.
The body of Boris Isaevich was discovered by his wife Irina.

Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating, but the main version of the TV presenter's death remains suicide.
A suicide note was found next to the body of Boris Isaevich, in which the TV presenter explained his act: “I am leaving this life voluntarily. Tired of suffering.”
Recall that in May, Notkin went to the hospital with complaints of dizziness and weakness. A comprehensive examination revealed the most severe, IV stage of cancer. After inpatient treatment, the TV presenter returned home.

The last time Boris Isaevich appeared in public on October 24th. Together with his wife, the TV presenter attended the premiere of the film by Alexei Uchitel "Matilda" at the cinema "Red October".

Boris Notkin came to television at the age of over 45, in the late 80s. Historiographer and psycholinguist with a brilliant knowledge of English first appeared on the screens in the Good Evening, Moscow program. The TV presenter interviewed many influential politicians, and once, together with Nikolai Karachentsov, he played a tennis game against Boris Yeltsin and Shamil Tarpischev.
Millions of TV viewers remembered Boris Isaevich for the program “Boris Notkin Invites”, which aired on the “Moscow Television Channel” and the TV Center channel for more than 20 years. Until March 2015, the TV presenter managed to prepare issues with many stars of Russian show business. One of his last interlocutors was the writer Mikhail Zadornov.
In 1995 and 1996, the presenter was nominated for the TEFI television award. In June 2007, Notkin was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, I degree, and six years ago he was awarded the Order of Friendship.

Currently, the date and place of farewell to the famous TV presenter is unknown.
