Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko turned 35 in early November. His youngest son Sasha took part in the anniversary ice show in St. Petersburg along with the athlete.
The spectators, touched by the skill of the young figure skater, handed the boy a lot of soft toys and other souvenirs. The figure skater's wife Yana Rudkovskaya shared on her blog a video from a hotel room filled with gifts for Sasha.
Fans of the star couple then advised the boy's parents to think about a second joint child. Readers noted that the spouses make talented and hardworking children.
It is not known whether Sasha's parents will decide to follow the advice of fans, but he already has a little friend. Recently Yana Rudkovskaya posted a video story about this event on the boy's blog, supplementing it with a comment:

In the video, Sasha Plushenko plays with a small Spitz puppy. The boy strokes the puppy's soft apricot fur and turns its muzzle to the camera at the request of the mother.

Many followers of Alexander Plushenko's Instagram account were critical of what they saw. The boy's parents were bombarded with reproaches for the "rough treatment" of a small dog:
