There is nothing strange about going to a beautician or plastic surgeon. Cosmetic procedures are put on stream and are popular. The main thing is not to run into an unscrupulous expert, or even a completely crazy character. Unfortunately, these are not stories from horror films, but real cases from beauty practice.

Strikes instead of injections

The scandal with the singer and composer Valentina Sidorova, who came to the beauty salon and was beaten there, stirred up Instagram and shocked the public. The girl asked the cosmetologist Olesya Sokolan why the drug that she was taken out was not in the branded box, and for what reason there were no brand identification marks, to which she received a sharp answer: “I got up and went out of here.” To fix the boorish attitude, the girl began to film the conversation with Olesya on camera. Noticing this, the beautician abruptly snatched the phone from the patient's hands and, when Valentina reached for it, she began to deliver sharp blows to the head, which made the girl almost lose consciousness. According to a friend of the victim, the girl was diagnosed with a concussion and a broken nose. The work of the Beauty Med salon was then checked by the police.
From a blogger to cosmetologists: the story of an impostor

Recently, another scandal erupted, this time around a blogger who imagined himself a cosmetologist, without having a medical education. According to eyewitnesses, during the operations, Emelyan smoked, and instead of anesthesia, he gave alcohol to patients. Screenshots of photos from Instagram of the would-be doctor have been preserved, where he takes selfies with patients whose faces are clearly visible swelling … Braude was engaged not only in underground contouring, but also conducted seminars where he taught followers the "secret technique" of working with fillers. One of his victims, a girl from Dagestan, even had to be hospitalized after his services, but at the moment the impostor continues to work hard, though with his Instagram closed.
"Instagrammer" instead of a doctor
Another blogger - Elena Kornilova - was engaged in the promotion of dietary supplements, for which she probably received a percentage from manufacturers. In pursuit of easy money, the girl assured her subscribers that the bioactive supplements recommended by her should be taken in fairly large doses. Her readers have repeatedly complained of a rash after taking the drugs in the suggested quantities. At the same time, Elena claimed that she had a higher medical education and diplomas from the Technical University of Munich and the University of Anh alt, however, members of the RAS commission on combating the falsification of scientific research conducted their own investigation, which proved that the diplomas were not real.
Fatal Exposure
Popular YouTube blogger Katya Konasova conducted her own investigation and exposed the manufacturer of Fem Fatal cosmetic serum. The tool was advertised by many beauty bloggers, but Konasova, having made an examination, discovered a shocking fact. It turns out that the serum contains the antibiotic tetracycline, which can cause serious skin problems. The girl posted a video on this topic on her channel, in a day it gained more than 400 thousand views and even rose to the second line of the Youtube trend rating. Following this, Katya organized a call for applications to create a class action lawsuit against the whey manufacturer on the Platforma portal.
Not sparing your stomach

The plastic surgery scandal shocked the residents of Kuban in 2017. A woman named Anastasia Ismailova went to a private clinic in Krasnodar to the surgeon Alena Verdi to undergo a tummy tuck operation. Due to an incorrectly performed abdominoplasty, the patient developed a tumor, and she filed a lawsuit. As it turned out later, Anastasia was far from the first victim of an unscrupulous surgeon. Verdi was already a suspect in a criminal case of causing death by negligence: then, after liposuction, her 43-year-old patient died … Along the way, it turned out that at least 10 women became victims of Alena. Some of them were mutilated for life, and some are no longer alive. By decision of the Leninsky District Court, the false surgeon was arrested.
Terrible power
Victims of surgeons and cosmetologists are not only women: men also fall into fatal circumstances without any guarantee of safety. In September 2016, a Voronezh businessman Vyacheslav, who wanted to correct the shape of his nose, turned to the famous plastic surgeon Andrey Ross. After the operation, the man began to recover from anesthesia, but suddenly lost consciousness. Vyacheslav spent a week in intensive care at a private clinic, after which he was redirected to a state hospital. For a month and a half, the patient did not come to his senses and died. The surgeon, head physician and anesthesiologist of the clinic were brought to criminal responsibility.
Horror Salon
The so-called cosmetologist Natalya Korosteleva opened her salon in the Strogino area back in 2009, the institution lasted for six years. Out of a desire to save money, a woman used the cheapest and even life-threatening drugs when providing her services. Some clients left her "horror salon" with numerous diseases and even disabilities. For example, patient Valentina Barysheva almost lost her sight after Korosteleva injected a dangerous biopolymer into her lips instead of hyaluronic acid, which then migrated all over her face. Valya is far from the only victim: dozens of citizens have filed complaints about the false cosmetologist with law enforcement agencies. Natalya was sentenced to five and a half years in prison, and her assistants received suspended sentences.
