He was found in a broken carrier wrapped in duct tape left at a gas station. Disappointed owners sent the puppy into the unknown with a short biographical note and 200 rubles - but the baby was lucky.
The girl's plans for the evening did not include fussing with a homeless puppy, but when she drove into a gas station and saw a carrier standing in a corner under a bush, she could not pass by. The cage was set back from the gas stations, barely visible among the grass and debris. The cage swayed strongly - that's the only reason the girl paid attention to it. She got out of the car and heard someone inside - not barking, not howling, but rather screaming.
The old carrier was all wrapped in tape, and someone inside really wanted to break free. The girl opened the door and saw a tiny puppy inside; he was shaking and whining. The puppy was very thin and obviously severely dehydrated. Of course, the girl - a volunteer at the Furry States zoo - did not remain indifferent. She took the baby and the carrier with her. Before leaving, the rescuer approached the gas station workers: she wanted to know how long the carrier had been standing there in order to understand how dehydrated and malnourished the puppy was, how serious measures would be required. But the staff assured her that this was the first time they had heard of the transfer.
In the car, the girl found that a black plastic bag was taped to the sidewall of the cage with the same adhesive tape, there was a note in it: “Toshka, cable, rod. in con. January. Washed, previt. 2 shot 25. Dali at the shelter, like corgis, they don’t accept returns! The tomb is very expensive” Attention! Don't corgi!!! Cur!!! Steals food, ruins furniture! He eats everything, loves bread and chickens. bones! Take me to the shelter please! Or maybe. an excellent guard in the zag. home. Carrying and 200 rubles as a gift!!!”
Money in the package, by the way, was not found. “Not Corgi” looked at the savior with a penetrating look of brown eyes, as if he was afraid that he would again be denied home warmth and care. But the girl brought the baby home. First of all, she washed him thoroughly, and then she took care to fill his stomach - not with bread, and not with chicken bones. The kid was terribly tiny, incredibly thin, and as hungry as a whole pack of dogs. He obviously hasn't eaten in days.
The next day, the furry ward went to the vet with his new patroness. The doctor pleased her - except for extreme exhaustion, the dog is he althy. They decided to name him Novi - in honor of a friend of Furry States, where the baby went for a while, while he was looking for new owners. He has every chance of becoming a great friend: the puppy is meek and obedient, small in stature with huge expressive eyes, big ears, long body and short legs. But despite his appearance, he is definitely not a Corgi.
As soon as Novi settled into the shelter, he immediately began to try to look for a dairy mother in every inhabitant of Furry States. It turned out that he was quite a baby, and he was taken away from his mother's breast too early. But at the same time, for his age, he is very smart, perfectly understands when he is addressed, and constantly looks at the volunteers with his amazing brown eyes, as if asking: “Am I doing everything right?” The girl who saved the puppy from the gas station is sure that he will still be able to surprise everyone.
