The dog has found a clever way to show his owner how much he loves her. Everything would be fine, but sometimes it’s even scary to take his gifts into hands…
Pets show their love for their owners in different ways - from affectionate purring to torn shoes (yes, missing you, animals can "break" on things). In the case of dogs, everything is more or less obvious. Vigorous tail wagging, whining, and obligatory "hugs" are sure signs that the pet is very happy to see you. But the Labrador mix named Levi went even further and came up with a very sophisticated way to show how dear he is to the mistress.
Some time ago, in one of the open groups for animal lovers on Facebook, American Laurie Eddins spoke about the unusual gifts that Levy gives her when she meets her from work. It all started with a half-chewed cardboard box with screws. The motive was understandable, and Laurie appreciated the efforts of the dog, but she was pretty scared for the he alth of the dog. She asked him to immediately give the “gift”, and then watched the behavior of the pet for a long time, fearing that he might accidentally swallow a couple of metal parts. And to make sure that everything is in order, just in case, I took him to the vet.
Levi liked the "gift game" and began to bring more and more "values" to Lori.
"He brings everything - toys, bones, blankets, clods of grass, pieces of cardboard and paper and even logs," says the girl.
The most romantic gift was a bouquet of flowers. The cute Labrador behaved like a real gentleman, presenting the hostess with chewed plants from the flower bed, which she had so carefully grown since spring. But how can you be offended by Levi, who is driven by the purest feelings?
Sometimes Laurie receives very strange gifts - for example, pieces of horse manure or the remains of chickens, which she breeds on the site. But even in these cases, the hostess shows miracles of tolerance. “I give him a big hug and thank you, like he brought me a winning lottery ticket,” she says. Of course, it’s a pity for the birds, but after all, the dog does all this not out of harm, but out of love for Lori, and such sincere feelings must be appreciated. So in some places you have to be patient.
