The police department invited users to view pictures to the music from The Benny Hill Show, because the race with the pig turned out to be very comical.

In early November, the police in Pensacola, Florida began receiving calls from disgruntled citizens who were disturbed by the constant noise. According to the residents, it was created by some kind of animal, similar to "either an ugly dog, or a chupacabra." Having left early in the morning to the scene, the patrol found "a runaway pot-bellied pig." The police decided to catch the violator, but it turned out that the pig had other plans, and she did not plan to return home.
The animal gave a wild chase. Several police officers tried for an hour to catch the fugitive, but she kept evading the authorities with a strategy that everyone could then see from the footprints in the mud.
Needless to say, after such an hour-long race, the representatives of the law looked at least untidy. Luckily, the officers had the humor to laugh at the situation and share hilarious footage of the chase on the management's Facebook page. The pictures were provided by Pensacola News Journal photojournalist Tony Giberson, who was lucky enough to witness the unusual detention.
After an hour of playing catch-up with the police, the pig finally gave up. The animal was caught in a net and taken away from the scene. Nothing is known about the further fate of the fugitive, but, according to the police, not a single pig was injured during the detention.
